This factsheet summarizes the most important findings in our study Vrouwen en financiën. Van roze wolk naar financieel bewustzijn (Women and Finance: From Living on a Pink Cloud to Financial Awareness). This study builds on the findings from the Vrouwen en financiële zelfredzaamheid (Women and Financial Self-reliance) study from 2010.
This factsheet provides insights into how women who are not currently economically independent can improve their financial self-reliance. In doing so, the following topics are addressed: the degree to which these women are financially aware, the importance they attach to having adequate financial competencies, and how effective support can be provided.
