Atria has three fields of activity

Collections

Collects, manages and preserves information (in library and archive) on the position of women and gender relations in society. It preserves the heritage of Dutch women’s movements.

Research and Consultancy

Conducts scholarly and policy-relevant research, writes policy analyses and uses these analyses for sound evidence-based policy advices. Influences the political agenda by offering topical information and expertise.

Service to the public

Initiates debates and makes information accessible to a wide public, e.g.: academics, policy makers, affiliate organisations and press. Facilitates the organisation of public engagement activities such as lectures and exhibitions.
